I took the long journey to the north eastern shore of the Great Salt lake in the summer of 2015 seeking out the Spiral Jetty. Created in April 1970 by Robert Smithson. There were many challenges, in addition to being so remote the light was overcast with little contrast, the drought made the water level very low and the was heavy wind. In the end I think those factors helped capture the moment as it was.
