As I was standing on the beach of a frozen lake in 7 degree weather, I hear a commotion and quickly look behind me and see a small group of deer dashing through the brush and trees. The moment was over quickly enough but for the next 20-30m of shooting I could only imagine what they were running from as I stood out in the open.
