Buddha Dordema is the tallest statue of Lord Buddha made from Bronze metal. It is located on a scenic hill of Kuenselphodrang in south Thimphu. The project was initiated in 2006 and completed in 2015. However, it is told that another three years will be spent to complete the inner works of three tier temples. By far the statue is regarded as the landmark of Bhutan and a must visit site while in the capital of Bhutan, Thimphu
