Pastel peach-pink flowers blossoming out of the trunk of the Cannonball Tree, Couroupita guianensis. These turn into fragrant, heavy, round, cannonball-sized fruit that come crashing down to the ground and, in turn provide food for wild pigs and other ground scavenging mammals. It's kind of cool in an alien, slightly spooky, tentacle going to grab you sort of way.
