One of the largest annual fireworks displays in the world, Thunder Over Louisville is the opening event to the Kentucky Derby Festival. This year the low winds and high pressure kept the smoke lingering well into the display. I felt the long exposure made good use of the smoke where it would have taken away from the image otherwise.
