Behind The Lens

Location

This is a photo of an original fish rubbing (gyotaku) I made using a redfish I caught here in Largo, Florida. The art of fish rubbing is an ancient art first done in Japan in the 1500's. We place paint on the fish then place paper on the fish to lift the print of the fish. Then I draw additional images onto some. In the case of this image I added the Wolf and Moon. I hope you catch your Dream...........

Time

around noon outside on a sunny day.

Lighting

usually I take this in the sunlight outdoors.

Equipment

standard 35mm camera by hand.

Inspiration

I take photos of all my art pieces.

Editing

no special processing for this photo I took, although after I took this photo I had the original rubbing shown here scanned professionally at 300 dpi for my publisher/distributors printing of the reporductions.

In my camera bag

no special equipment.

Feedback

follow your dream.
