I took this nature picture of a Florida Softshell Turtle that was in the middle of the Shady Oak Trail at the Circle B Bar Reserve on April 22, 2016. In my experience it is unusual to see this type of turtle very far from the water, but this one was a good two hundred yards from the closest water source visible from the trail.
