Alabama Hills in California is a crazy place! Cactus, wildflowers, and desert within a stones throw from the beautiful Eastern Sierras.

I was so afraid I was gonna trip and fall into one of these Medieval torture devices they call a cactus. The tallest peak in the contiguous United States, Mt. Whitney, is in the background. Keeping watch over all the valley below.
