Location
The photo was taken at the Multnomah Falls, along the beautiful Columbia Gorge, on a fall day.Time
This is such a magical place, which draws hundreds of tourists, so it can be tricky to get a good shot during the middle of the day. Fortunately, there was there was a break in the crowd, and I was able to get this shot.Lighting
There was cloud cover that day, which really helped to bring out the beautiful fall colors. No special lighting was needed.Equipment
This was shot from my Android phone, which was a Samsung model at the time. Nothing fancy was needed with the natural beauty in front of me.Inspiration
The setting was captivating, along with the beautiful fall colors. The perfect scenario for any photographer.Editing
At that time, I only used the editing tools on my phone to bring out the details in the photo; bringing more depth to it. The colors were already there. In my camera bag
I always carry my Canon EOS 1300D, and a couple of lenses with me when I travel. I also carry one of the latest Google/Pixel phones with me as they have some of the greatest cameras on them for a cell phone. They are great for capturing shots in a hurry.Feedback
Always be ready when looking for that next great shot. Try to plan ahead, and know your lighting conditions ahead of time. When I use my camera, I'll preset some of my settings based on the lighting at the time, like when I'm in a hurry to get to the beach for my sunset shots. Cloudier conditions can actually be great for photos such as these. Play with different angles, try different settings, be creative, and most of all, have fun with your photography!
