Behind The Lens

Location

Henderson Lake Golf Club

Time

This was around 7ish the sun was setting in the west. I was walking home from visiting my grandmother and my mother. At this moment in my life i was dealing with personal struggles. my only ground from going crazy was my backpack with a 60D canon in it. it was the only thing that was understandable at a time when nothing was. I have a deep respect for sunsets and sunrises. The always changing colours is the proof that God (G) is the original artist of our world.

Lighting

not much to say about the lighting but it was a beautiful sunset.

Equipment

Canon 60D and basic kit lens.

Inspiration

I didn't have a inspirational drive for this photo. i kinda came across the water hazard while walking on the golf fair way. i seen the reflection in the water and i wanted to see if i could catch what i seen. At this moment is when i have been a big fan of reflection shooting. no matter if its water, windows reflection says or basically anything that can reflect a image.

Editing

I shot this photo slightly underexposed to bring the color out in the sky more. Then i brightened the foreground in Lightroom.

In my camera bag

canon 60D, nifty fifty, basic 18-55mm, 55-250mm and 28-75mm

Feedback

Don't go looking for the perfect shot. let the shot come to you. take your time and watch the surroundings, and you would be amazed what you can find in just a small area. Remember its just pictures there is no right or wrong way of taking them. just take what you think is inspiring to your eye. Cheers
