Whilst teaching English in Bangkok I was lucky enough to have an apartment on the 24th floor facing out over the Chaophraya river and the King Rama bridge and the fantastic thunder storms always seemed to roll in from that direction which meant all I had to do was ensure my kit was ready whenever the sky would start to rumble.
Took a lot of patients and practice before I started capturing shots like these but I think they more than make up for the hours sat out in the rain.
