Location
This photo was taken a few years ago now so I'm not entirely sure where it was taken, I do now I was on holiday in Somerset so it was morethan likely at a Steam rally/ classic car show that had a birds of prey display.Time
I would say that it was taken sometime during the morning before 12 noon.Lighting
As this was taken a few years ago I was just getting into digital photography so the camera set to full auto, the settings it chose were f4.3, iso 125,and exposure of 10/2000.Equipment
The camera that I used was an Olympus SP570uz, a camera I bought second-hand to get into digital photography. As it's a bridge camera it has a fixed lens,I didn't use the flash or tripod it was hand held and basically just the camera.Inspiration
I've always liked photographing birds, flowers and animals, but now seem to photograph virtually anything that I think would make a good shot.Editing
Like I mentioned earlier I was just getting into digital photography so I never thought of doing any post processing, I still haven't done any 'real' post processing apart from the occasional cropping. It's something I want to start trying as I've now upgraded to a Canon eos 450d and am shooting raw images. In my camera bag
In my camera bag now I have a Canon 450d with a battery grip and the standard 18-55mm is lens,a Canon 55-250mm is lens,a Canon 28-80mm lens,a Canon 50mm 1.8 lens and a Tamron 70-300mm telemacro lens with a Teleplus 2x teleconverter. I also have a set of colour grad filters, full colour filters, special effect filters, and a set of macro filters, plus the usual UV and polarisers. I've got a Jessops 360AFDC external flash 5 lens hoods. Two Canon batteries and about 12 AA batteries for the flash. There is also the cleaning cloths cotton buds and lens blower.Feedback
The only advice I can give to anyone, who like me is new to photography is to just experiment and try different things, photograph any chance you can get and just have fun doing it. The only limit you have is your imagination.
