Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was created in Loutraki Greece. I was amazed by the sunset and the figures on the coast and I grapped my Nikon and....click!

Time

It was around 20:30 during summer. The sun as it was going down created these amazing colours reflected on the sea

Lighting

The golden hour is giving amazing colours in your photo. The light is soft and you can create dark figures when you spot the sun during the sunset

Equipment

I had my Nikon D7200 with a Nikkor 18-140 lense. That time I had no tripod with me so I tried to be as steady as to have a clear photo

Inspiration

I was having my lunch on a nearby tavern so as I turned my eye and saw the sunset with the lady and the dog walking on the coastline, this figure inspired my click

Editing

The post processing was done through Lightroom. The white balance was set on the camera and the only settings I changed was the the highlights and the shadows

In my camera bag

My bag has my Nikon D7200 with the 18-140 lense. I also carry one 70-200 Tamron lense if I want to bring close the subject I want to capture

Feedback

Have a tripod with you during sunset cause if you want clear photos the shutter speed will be slow with a closed aperture and without a tripod these captures shouldn't be easy
