Location
We took this photo at Ada Bojana in Ulcinj, Montenegro. It is one of the biggest and the prettiest beaches in Montenegro.Time
This is deffinetely the best photograph from that day. At 10:30 AM my team and I met at my home town Bar. We arrived at our destination around 12:00 PM. After we finished preparation of the models, the shooting could finally start at 13:30 PM and lasted until 16:00 PM.Lighting
Only natural light was used. The plan was to create some apocalyptical images, so we looked for the light to be in that hue. That day was perfect for it. We had heavy clouds as some storm was about to happen (that eventualy happened, instantly after we've finished our work). But this specific image was captured at the moment when sun rays managed to penetrate those heavy clouds.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon 550 D, with an 18-55 mm lens.Inspiration
The inspiration came from one simple feeling, that is LOVE. But we live in a world where love is not being appreciated much, thus love becomes forgotten. My friend Igor, also a photographer, and I came to an idea to create some images that represented love in an apocalyptic surrounding. Why apocalyptic? Because we believe that predicted apocalypse of our world does not lie in the Earth decay, but in totall lost of a true feelings. Meaning that once we forget love we will forget happiness, joy, excitement and other feelings that makes us go only forward. Instead we will become submissive to a depression, lonliness, sadness... This image is created on a contrary to that. To show how revealling can be when one is not scared to love.Editing
About 80% of the original image is preserved. We've used photoshop to remove some detailes in background that could ruin the concept. Also we used it to manage the lightning, that is brightness, contrast and shadows. We also added one effect which gave an apocalyptic hue to this image. In my camera bag
I have Canon 550d and lenses 50 mm, 18-55 mm and 75-300mm. I have a battery grip and two batteries,as well as tripod and zylberitza.Feedback
Creative imagination is the key for images like this. Let Your mind guide You beyond the boundaries.
