Here's a story to remember:- Whilst visiting Isiphaphalazi Butterfly Dome, I spotted the most exquisite Pied Piper butterfly resting on a branch so took aim and moved in as close as my lens would allow. I heard an anxious guide ask me to step away from the butterfly immediately and slowly. I was startled by the tension in his voice until he drew my attention to the extremely venomous green mamba which was within striking proximity of my hand. I got the shot of the butterfly and this one of the mamba - but hey why not of the snake with the butterfly - now that would be noteworthy!

How unbelievably blessed I am to live in a country filled with the most incredible wildlife sightings
