Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo and Gloucester County Virginia the butterfly was on a blooming apple tree I am a self-taught photographer still learning

Time

This photo was probably taken between the hours of 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. on a bright sunny day

Lighting

I think it's always best to take photos when the sun is out and bright I love the natural lighting this photo was all natural lighting from the Sun

Equipment

I think I used a digital Canon PowerShot camera when I took this photo I don't really remember it may have been taken with my phone

Inspiration

Well at the moment that I saw the butterfly on this tree there was actually hundreds of butterflies on this tree but I focused on the one closest to me that got my attention

Editing

No I did not do any post processing

In my camera bag

I have upgraded since I took this photo I now have a cannon Rebel t7 I have your standard macro and zoom lens and a nifty fifty 50 mm lens

Feedback

My best advice is take a photo of anything that captures your eye always look Beyond what's really there if that makes sense that's what I do be random be creative just be you and shoot what makes you happy
