Location
This photo is taken at the Great Salt Lake in Utah near the bird sanctuary.Time
It was about 6:00 pm and I had set out on a sunset quest to capture the reflection of the mountains in the water. It was slightly breezy that day. While packing my gear out towards the lake, I came across this beautiful lone flower swaying in the wind begging to be photographed. I saw the reflection of the sunset behind the flower and had to capture this amazing sight.Lighting
I wanted this image to standout and have a blurred background. In order to achieve this I used a flash to capture the details of the flowers. The sun was starting to set but hadn't achieved the colors of dust yet.Equipment
I used a Nikon 3200 with the built in flash and either the standard 18-55mm lens or the 55-200mm lens.Inspiration

I used Lightroom to achieve a brighter background and to help bring out the edges of the flower. In my camera bag
I carry with me my Nikon 3200, my 50 prime lens, and my two kit lenses. I also have a tripod, reflectors, and cleaning kits.Feedback
