Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Luray Caverns, VA. It's a popular tourist location in Virginia.

Time

I took this image sometime at noon. I had had arrived there at 10 o'clock. I left my hometown of Winchester, Virginia a little after 8:30 with my family because it takes 45 minutes to get from Winchester to Luray.

Lighting

The lighting was especially difficult because this picture was taken in a cave and lighting was at a minumn

Equipment

The only equipment I l used was my camera it's self.

Inspiration

Luray Cavrens is a beautiful location nestled in the Blue Ridge Moutains. You're surrounded by breathtaking veiws constantly. How could you not be inspired to take pictures of Gods paradise when you're constantly surrounded by beauty?

Editing

I did some minor tweaking with this picture. For instance; I adjusted the brightness and contrast.

In my camera bag

I usually have at least one extra memory card, tripod, and a wide angle zoom lens.

Feedback

Take your time and be patient! Adjust your shutter speed to where you can get more light in. Cause when your in a place with minimal lighting, like caves for instance you'll need to get all the light you can capture. Also, a tripod would help, don't want the picture to be blurry!
