Grove of magnolia trees located in Columbus Indiana surrounding the North Christian Church. Eero Saarinen a Finnish American architect for the church. The building was finished in 1964, 3 years after his death. With a hexagonal shape, a spire reaching 192 feet and a magnolia grove on surrounding much of the exterior it is quite a treat to visit this locaion in the spring. Must say it is the most unusual shape for a church in the area.I've tried to give a portion of the grove my own take on powerful feel that nature can give.
