Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my living room, I just used a black curtian as the backdrop

Time

I believe it was late afternoon/evening.

Lighting

I like natural diffused light so that's what I used here. I was able to direct some of the light from my big living room window.

Equipment

Canon 7D

Inspiration

I've always liked lillies especially these because of their simplistic beauty.

Editing

I used Photoshop to convery to black and white. Then did some minor tweaking to the contrast and brightness.

In my camera bag

Usually carry an extra battery, my Fields Notes notebook to jot down any ideas or notes.

Feedback

Try to use a cloudy day to your advantage and shoot indoors. Always move around and try new angles. I try to keep it simple and clean.
