This photo was taken on a model shoot day at a studio. I saw the set and just knew what i wanted to do with it.Time
This was taken at around lunch time when the most light was available through the roof lightsLighting
This is shot using natural light due to it being just right when I saw the set.Equipment
I used a nikon d610 with a 50mm f1.8 lens and free hand due to the fast shutter speed availableInspiration
I had recently been watching lord of the rings and when I saw the back drop it just took me to the elven woods.Editing
This is one of the few photos that required no post processing. Everything just fell into place. In my camera bag
I normally carry a tripod/monitor, my trusty camera I've just changed from my nikon kit to a much lighter olympus em1 set up with a few primes 45mm 1.4 and 25mm 1.8 and a mid range zoom 14-40 2.8. I always have a flash and some colour gels to fit it, and my imagination.Feedback
I never enter a shoot with a definite shot I must take I just go with ideas of what sort of thing I think will be possible and work from there. All shoots will have something that just catches your eye and ideas will bubble up if you just take a minute to appreciate them.
