This was natural light at sunset.Equipment
Nikon D40, hand held. Not my normal camera, but I found it on eBay and trying it out as an 'extra' camera to take on a trip - so I would not risk one of my 'better' cameras. I found I really liked the D40.Inspiration
Inspiration? I liked how it looked. We watched this woman exercise her horse for about 20 minutes. When she was done, she walked up to the horse, and they affectionately touched heads together.Editing

This day, all I had was that camera and lens. I was on a mountain bike and wanted to travel light.Feedback
No advice for 'capturing something similar'. Just keep your camera with you. This was unexpected and unplanned.
