One of my biggest passions is lightning photography. I love it when I catch a bolt and can spend hours staring into them! This was a special evening for me. Had me an older gentleman who wa`s observing the storm with me I had showed him a few other previous lightning pics I had gotten and he asked how I did it. Simply told him I click the shutter when I think we may have a bolt! Also added also a lot of luck! He replied its a lot more than luck! Your very good! That really made my night he went to get into his classic Super car as this hit!! I felt the concussion in my chest! Started yelling in excitement and thanked the man who was leaving! In the process of finding where he lives so i can drop of a print for him! Thank you everyone. John Oddo Photography.

After dropping the print off to the man he got back to me and invited me sailing on One of America’s Cup Racing Sailboats! ❤️🙏 and that day was magical with the amount of older wooden sailboats and a perfect sail down the LI sound! Got some fun pics that day as well!
