This sweet young Sandhill Crane is growing up fast. He and his sibling were getting worms for their meal.

These two burrowing owls were so cute. They were on top of their burrow but the grass all around it gave the photo a special effect.

The Limpkin is a pretty bird with a very loud call. This one was very patient when I took photos of him.

The neighborhood Sandhill Crane parents enjoy teaching their young colts everything, including how to dance!

Dad sandhill crane doesn't mind getting close to me. He and mom have two colts and live in the next neighborhood over.

I finally captured a photo of the elusive Green Heron!

I found a beautiful Hooded Merganser among the mallard ducks!

As I was photographing the sunset, I turned around to see a storm was brewing behind me!
