This flower was located in the garden of a friend of mine. I look forward every spring to get shots of her irises and other flowers. Her garden is lovely and never lacks for photo ops.Time

Have fun. Remember, if you're using a digital camera, there's no film wasted. I just shoot what catches my eye. I love, love, love flowers and the insects associated with them. I have very bad knees, so many of my shots are actually taken from my car. Don't be afraid .... experience it. Nothing is more exciting than seeing things turn out the way you hoped they would. I basically take photos as something to help combat stress. When I'm out 'hunting' for photos, I get lost in that world.
