Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Edmonton, Kentucky on a back road in the curve.

Time

I took this picture right after a storm moved through at sunset.

Lighting

This is natural lighting beaming up into the clouds to create a pretty scene.

Equipment

I used a Canon Rebel T3 and a 15-55mm lens. This was a handheld shot.

Inspiration

I've always had a love and passion for anything having to do with it. I had noticed this beauty after the rain, and walked up to this curve in the road. I felt lucky being able to capture it in time before the sun got below the horizon.

Editing

I used photoshop elements 13, to lighten the shadows, and a few more adjustments, in order to make the photo look like what I was seeing with my own eyes.

In my camera bag

I have my camera, a lens cleaning brush, and my 15-55mm lens. I like to keep it simple.

Feedback

Always check outside after a storm moves through around the time of the sunset. The sun makes the clouds all different sorts of colors at that time of the day.
