My "Easter" Lily

behind the lens badge

This is not an Easter lily, but for some reason it will only bloom the day before Easter.

Behind The Lens

Location

I planted this lily in my yard beside a huge oak tree.

Time

Mid afternoon.

Lighting

I think the type of lighting that was captured created beautiful effects on the lily and for its surroundings.

Equipment

A Canon DSLR

Inspiration

The inspiration for taking this photo was even though its not an Easter Lily, it only blooms on Easter. And my dearest pet is buried by this tree and died on Easter Day.

Editing

No post-processing

In my camera bag

A Canon Rebel T5, 18-55mm, 75-250mm, and several other lens by Stigma and Canon. A tripod, light filters, mirrors, cleaning equipment, extra batteries and SD cards, I also have a Sony Sureshot just for my granddaughter and a Canon 7D for my backup. I carry these everywhere, everyday.

Feedback

Practice, Practice, Practice. Experiment with manual mode and get away from automatic. Yes its much more difficult but always will pay off in the end.
