Geographic details:

Raung is one of the most active volcanoes on the island of Java in Indonesia. It is located in the province of East Java and has a 2-kilometre-wide and 500-meter-deep caldera surrounded by a grayish rim.

The Story:
Mid 2015 - Mount Raung was reportedly in a state of alert as it threatened to erupt any time.
I shot this image on one of my overland photographic trips through Java.

The photo has actually not much of a story except one of a breath taking landscape of a volcano during sunrise. The silhouetted figure of the Tenggerese horse fills up the foreground and compliments the landscape.

The main attraction in the images was the gorgeous hues of colors that impair a sunrise, these are priceless moments to witness the volatility of nature and take up the challenge to capture the fleeting moments of a sunrise or sunsets in a photograph.
