I was taking photos on the Place de Bourse in Brussels, three days after the attack. There was a man, kneeling down by the flowers, and he was writing something. I took a picture of his hands, not knowing what he wrote. He started "je suis Bruxelles". Still very much a raw nerve, I had to leave since I was choking on tears.
