Location
Took this photo up in marlborough sounds, south island, New Zealand.Time
It was around 6:00-7:00amLighting
Timing and patience is a key to anything. I saw a moment where the guys were sussing out what Rods and bait to take with them on the charter that morning.Equipment
Just used: My cellphone(Samsung) No flash No lens And no tripod.Inspiration
I've always enjoyed capturing moments or nature and this was the perfect time for it. 6:00-700am when the sun is rising up over the sounds the smell of salt water with the sound of Tui's and Bell Birds in the trees.Editing
No processing what so ever I set the camera to auto focus. In my camera bag
I don't have a fancy set up for photos, just whipping out my phone if I see something worth while. I'm not keen on bulk, I like to be able to move and capture quick and free.Feedback
Pick your time gaps wisely. The angle of the sun and shadows can mean a light shot or a dark shot. Don't rush, I find rushing can make the focus go off balance even if auto focus is on. Take ur time to get a feel for the surrounding area, take a moment to look around for that perfect spot and get to know ur angles once u have. Other than that go and enjoy the world. :-)
