I was driving some back roads admiring the clouds when I saw what I thought would make a great foreground subject to use with them.

Sunset Road

About twenty five minutes before sunrise I captured a nice reflection on some fresh ice that was not there the night before.

This is simply a shot from a city park across a lake at sunset.

I find the endless variety of flowers and insects fascinating. I try to shoot whatever looks my way.

This old cedar was standing here when I used to come up to this bluff 40 years ago. It has quite the local reputation.

Macro photography is always so beautiful and fascinating to me. Its my favorite form.
This entire flower is only about an inch across.

It took some baiting and coaxing with walnut chunks but I was finally able to capture the rare and elusive snapping chipmunk.
