Behind The Lens

Location

Taken in my Old home studio in Australia.

Time

Taken sometime around early evening, it was a long shoot and time tends to vanish quite quickly.

Lighting

I was after a shiny look so I took the soft covers off the soft boxes for a more direct and harsh light

Equipment

my ancient trusty and now retired canon 300D, standard lens, 2 x 100 watt soft boxes

Inspiration

I just love all things Egyptian!

Editing

skin smoothing and color filters via paintshop pro, yes it was a long time ago!!

In my camera bag

always a minimalist I usually only carry my camera, charger, spare battery, speedlite and some lens cleaning equipment.

Feedback

soft boxes are great for the variation in lighting they can provide and post processing is of course required. To re create this image now the only difference is that I would use light room for the post processing. I still use my soft boxes for majority of my lighting in studio
