These action-packed events are a photographic challenge. Shutter speed is king as the action happens in the blink an eye. The faster the shutter speed the sharper the image. Get to the arena early to find the best position close to fence. Expect to be photographing from a distance away from the action so best to use a longest lens available. Bring as many memory cards and batteries as possible. Finally take as many photographs of the event as possible. To capture these moments takes a bit of luck and practice.
