Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was shot in my house/conservatory room. It was a rainy day and that was the only place where I could "unleash" my creativity :)

Time

It was a wet and cloudy afternoon when I shot this but that didn't stopped me to search for a new subject, a limited space unleashes your creativity.

Lighting

This was shot in my conservatory so with windows all around me it was a great source of natural and soft light.

Equipment

I've used my Nikon D5300 with a 50mm lens on it, no tripod or flash used.

Inspiration

Well, being limited with space, the dices were near me and I thought: Why not? I always like to try different subjects and photograph whatever surrounds me even if good or bad light interesting or a boring subject. I know that sometimes you can achieve a great photo just when you expect the least.

Editing

I haven't done any post-processing with this. This is a "straight out of camera" shot.

In my camera bag

My bag is quite minimal at the moment, composed by my only Nikon D5300 camera and my 50mm Nikkor 1.8G Prime Lens.

Feedback

Look around you and shot whatever you think is beautiful. Don't rush when you walk or when you are on your way to your desired subject, you may find a greater one on your way there. And also don't get limited by space. You can create something even if you are "stuck" in a 1 meter range, trust me. Let's say you really are stuck and don't have any idea what to shoot, think again, use your hands/body to create a shadow for example. Life is beautiful and all the things around us are beautiful. I think our planet, things and nature deserves to be admired from more angles that we usually do. That's why photographers exist!
