I took this photo around 11 years ago at Chester Zoo, when we last has a big fall of snow in England. I am a patron for Tigers in captivity in England. So getting access to the enclosures was easy for me to get the other side of the caging area. Not actually in with the Tigers but close enough to take this shot without a wire fence to obscure the shot.Time
Chester Zoo is a 100 mile round trip from my house, so I think it would be around lunch time, say between 2-4 pm.Lighting
It was a white out so to just focus on the Tigers playing in the snow was amazing.Equipment
Nikon Coolpix S2900 with the flash turned off. No tripod used.Inspiration
Chester Zoo wanted some postcards featuring the new cub born at the zoo so they asked me to take some photo's and they would pick the ones they wanted for there 2010 newsletter.Editing
No.In my camera bag
Nikon coolpix S2900, a couple of iphones, spare battery pack.Feedback
Get involved with fundraising for protection of animals in captivity. It opens doors for anyone to get close to the animals you want to take photos of.
