The title is not referencing the plane, as none of the B-25 survived the Doolittle raid. Flying in this B-25 Mitchell was WWII veteran and Doolittle Raider Lt. Col. Dick Cole. Cole and Staff Sgt. David Thatcher are the last surviving participant in the Doolittle Raids which bombed Tokyo for the first time. Lt. Cole truly is one of the last of a dying breed of heroic men! Here is an interview with Cole, www.youtube.com-watch?v=sAmbQaC4a7c

When Doolittle died they were going to have a fly over with a couple of B-25s. It was foggy and they sent a Cessna 172 up to guide them there. Those guys were really true pilots for use the machines..
