Sunrise from the top of the Appalachian foot hills at Len Foote Hike Inn. I took my wife to the Inn for our tenth anniversary. To get to the Inn, we had to hike five miles up a mountain to the front steps of Len Foote and five miles to leave. Because of the strenuous hike, I decided to leave my A7R and XT1 at home to reduce my carrying weight. Instead, I opted for my daughter's old compact camera, the Canon S95. Gear is only second place to the vision and technical execution of the photographer.
