Congratulations on winning my photo challenge. I think that this image was nicely composed and fit the theme spot on.

Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my garden shortly after finally buying my first digital camera.

Time

Early morning,as soon as it was full daylight.

Lighting

Nope.

Equipment

A simple point and shoot. Kodak Easyshare M863. My 9 year old nephew has inherited it.

Inspiration

I was upset that the spring snowfall would damage the spring flowers. Expected to find disaster, and instead was surprised by beauty.

Editing

I'm new to this whole thing, and only able to use the simple edits in Google+ so far. Hope to learn more for the future,as I feel as though I'm creating something unique to me....almost like painting.

In my camera bag

An entry level Nikon with a 55-200mm,and a 18-55mm lens. Also a couple of freezer bags for wet weather. A Fuji Finepix SL1000,which I still prefer. We love hiking and wildlife viewing, and the superzoom is simple, quick and easy to use when opportunity is fleeting, and the photographer is a simpleton :P

Feedback

Honestly, the best advice I ever got was to always have the camera charged and handy, the day you don't is when the mothership will land.
