Behind The Lens

Location

It was taken down Bridal Lane, Chester Gates, UK.

Time

It was taken in the morning on the way to work. I passed the lane and just had to turn around to take the photo. Lucky I had my camera with me that day.

Lighting

It was taken with just the available light from the low rising sun.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D7200 with the kit 18-105 lens.

Inspiration

It's beauty. When I saw the light and mist through the gate I knew I did not have long as the sun was rising and thre mist was moving.

Editing

I try to do as little as possible. When I do I use Lightroom and as just to "taste".

In my camera bag

I usually have my: Nikon D7200 50mm f/1.8 18-105mm 70-200mm f/4 Nikon SB28

Feedback

Just do it. Really! You don't need the best kit or the most high end camera. Learn what you have in side out and find its limits. When you have this knowledge you can then really start to expore many creative possibilities.
