Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Gallup, NM behind my apartments.

Time

It was around noon that i took this picture. I was just walking around and had seen this dead sagebrush. I really thought is was interesting being that everything else was green.

Lighting

This picture was at the beginning of my experience so I really was just experimenting with the lighting and not really sure of what I was doing or getting myself into.

Equipment

Canon Powershot sx 530 is what I used. No tripod or Lens was used.

Inspiration

Umm I really thought it was cool to find this dead sagebrush in a sea of green.

Editing

I did do post processing experimentation. This was really the beginning of me starting to shoot so i wanted to experiment a bit more.

In my camera bag

I usually carry my camera, a battery pack, and a few filter lenses being on what I feel like shooting for that particular day.

Feedback

My advice would be to always try new things and don't ever be afraid to try something out of your comfort zone. As I go further in my career I always see things that I would like to try. If you feel landscape is not your thing just give it a go. Clouds also give some definition to a picture. I love shooting clouds.
