I hear Key West is the best place to be at the time of sunset. It's the southern most point in the continent of America which makes it an accomplished moment for the travelers like me.Editing

I carry canon 600D with the kit lens with the 24 hour battery pack attached always. With this, I also have the 70-300mm telephoto lens just in case if I bump into wildlife. And a shutter trigger for time-lapse.Feedback
Keep it simple. It's easy to keep the subject aligned to horizon just by matching the grids to the horizontal line which can be seen at the apex point.
