Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in our old house. It was beautiful old Victorian house with lots of windows and had the perfect light.

Time

This is one of my favorite shots of my dog Starr. It was a random shot. I always use my phone camera to take my photo's. She had been sleeping and woke up and I happened to have one of her favorite treats handy.

Lighting

The lighting in that old Victorian house was AMAZING. Such large windows, so much natural light. I was truly blessed by mother nature that day.

Equipment

The shot was taken by my trusty cell phone. No lens, tripod.

Inspiration

My dog was a rescue dog. She had been starved and abandoned before we choose her from Animal Friends. She had been scarred of everything and everyone and would steal food. I wanted to show the world what a difference you can make by showing love and compassion and patience to these poor animals that have been through such an ordeal. That we can truly be honored to have their trust and loyalty in return.

Editing

Nothing special. Just point and shoot.

In my camera bag

I only have my cell phone to take my shots. I could never get to grips with a ordinary camera as I have small hands and found them bulky to handle.

Feedback

Patience and a lot of luck. Take as many shots as you can. And most of all, enjoy it and make it fun!
