As a portrait photographer, who's main subjects are young women who are normally fully adorned by make-up I decided to shoot Anna in the first instance bare, of make-up that is, but fully clothed in number 1. The many faces of Anna are five shots in chronological order. As the shoot progresses I think Anna's vulnerability, which is clear in the many faces of Anna 1, has gone by the time we get to numbers 4 & 5, which ironically is when she is wearing the least clothing. I think for some women the thought of no make-up is worse than being nude, it gives them a persona to hide behind, it's more a part of them than clothing. What do you think?
