Afternoon around 1 pmLighting
It was cloudy day the lighting was very soft created by the overcast clouds. All natural light.Equipment
Canon 6d, canon 17-40mm f/4. SIRUI tripod, 2 stops circular polarizer filter and 10 stops ND filter.Inspiration
It was cloudy overcast day, I really wanted to capture the mood and feelings of the nature. The mood and overcast weather inspired me to capture this image. This is one of my favorites location to shoot sunrises and this place has always inspired me.Editing
Yeah, I used Lightroom and Photograph to process this image. I did basic adjustments in Lightroom like correcting lens distortion, shadows and highlights, cropping and I changed it into black and white in Photoshop. Nothing big change from original raw file, brought some details and increased little bit of contrast. In my camera bag
Camera body canon 6d, canon 17-40mm f/4 lens, canon 24-105mm f/4, canon 100-400mm f/4 zoom lens, polarizer filters, ND filters, remote control, lens cleaning clothes, tripod, a flash light, canon 85mm 1.8, extra camera batteries.Feedback
To capture good images, first of all one has to understand the quality of lights. Best lighting for landscape photography is during the golden and blue hours. Try to catch those lights as much as possible. My second advice is "The Inspiration". Get the inspiration from other photographers and the nature. It is the inspiration that makes me wake up every morning and get out in the nature.
