Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at home, in my bird aviary.

Time

This photo was taken during the day.

Lighting

This was all natural daylight.

Equipment

I used my handheld dSLR with a fast shutter speed and a wide open aperture.

Inspiration

I have many hobbies, and raising Zebra Finches is one of them. I quite often combine my photography hobby with many of my other hobbies, so this is the result of this combination.

Editing

I played around with the colours a bit to bring out the orange of the beak and feet.

In my camera bag

I don't actually have a lot of equipment: A tripod, my camera and a couple of lenses is what I own.

Feedback

Birds are quite hard to capture, what helps is to have a lot of patience, and a fast shutter.
