The photo was taken at old Leh Market. The market is famous among the tourists for Tibetan handicraft items including prayer wheels, Buddhist masks, Thangka paintings and traditional Ladakhi jewelry along with famous Handwoven rugs, carpets and pashmina shawls. Similarly one of the interesting part here is the vegetable market which is settled in front of these souvenir shops… The sellers are mainly old ladakhi women and they descend here from the neighbouring villages…
