Behind The Lens
Location
The image was taken on Lake Huron Ipperwash Beach.Time
I believe I took this around 10:00 in the morning.Lighting
The lighting was very even and I do remember it being a cold and windy morning.Equipment
Taken with Sony A7r with a Zeiss 24-70mm Lens on a tripod with a 10 stop ND Filter. Fujifilm XT1 18-135mm Lens.Inspiration
I wanted the movement of the water and clouds to contrast the stillness of the wooden posts.Editing
I didin't do a lot of post- processing on this one. Photoshop to remove dust and anything distracting to me. Enhanced the effect on the sky a little more with motion blur filter and did a bit of sharpening. In my camera bag
I carry the A7r 24-70 lens as well as 35 mm lens ND filter and tripod.Feedback
The only advice I can give is to try and experiment with different filters and post-processing. If you have Pre Sets in Lightroom or Photoshop or On-One and programs like that give them a try and play around with them and see what you come up with, there is no right or wrong way. Everybody is different and thats what makes life interesting.
