On Feb 21, 2016, I was able to witness the "firefall" on El Capitan, otherwise known as Horsetail falls. During this time of year, the sun hits the falls just right and causes the falls to turn red during sunset. Unfortunately for me (and the other photographers there), the falls ended up being pink due to a cloud blocking some of the suns rays. But it was still an amazing moment and still beautiful!
