Behind The Lens

Location

photo was captured at my local skate park in Alliance, ohio,i grew up riding there with a bunch of my friends ,always was a good time pushing each other to progess and learn new tricks on our bmx bikes.

Time

i remember the sun was setting around the golden hour time ,had a few more trys to get the shot and timing right to capture the perfect moment.

Lighting

no flash or other lighting used, all natural lighting to make the image capture .

Equipment

canon t3i with rokinon 8mm fisheye

Inspiration

alll the pro bmx riders i looked up to growing up ,especially dave mirra.

Editing

i brought out the detail and sharpness of the shadows in light room making the image have more dynamic range, black and white made the image blend together to not have certain colors stand out and make the focus of the capture on the center of the image

In my camera bag

camera,lens,tripod

Feedback

always take your time to get the right shot some will be close on the timing but when getting a shot of action in a still image its really important to get the timing right and have a high enough shutter speed to keep the image sharp and retain detail
