I love when photos are taken with the sun behind the trees. Great job. and welcome to VB.

Location
This image was taken on my usual early morning dog walk, I’ve always got the camera with me so I never miss an opportunity, I’d noticed the trees lined up with the sunrise at this time of year so it was just a matter of picking the perfect day (and obviously a clear one)Time
It was taken just after sunrise at around 6:20am, very crisp morning tooLighting
Autumn and winter always give beautiful long shadows and warm light, it’s a photographers dreamEquipment
This was shot with a Pentax KP with the kit 18-135mm lens which I’ve found to be the perfect walk around lens for casual photography, aperture priority to ensure a good depth of fieldInspiration
I think the 3 bare trees portray the bleakness of winter, the branches detailed from the sun behindEditing
I really only had to lift the shadows in lightroom to give a little detail to the foreground for this shot, sunrises and sunsets tend to be colourful enoughIn my camera bag
Aside from the Pentax KP with the kit 18-135mm lens I’ve usually a Pentax I mount 50mm f1.4 lens to handFeedback
My only advice for this kind of shot is patience, observe where the light is, and when is going to be the best time to return to get the ideal lighting you’re looking for
